Is It Worth It, Buying A Two-Stroke?

I am considering buying a used 2 stroke mx bike, but is it worth it, considering the fact that they are soon to be replaced w/4 strokes?
[also, the bike i currently own is a 4 stroke]

I enjoy a 2007kx100 trying to trade...

Answers:    ahhh urm..... i wouldn't but it if within were u. buying secondhand 2-stroke bikes is a bit dodgy.
population who have have 2-strokes have the movement to thrash them. when buying 2-strokes these are the questions i would ask.
1)how repeatedly do you change the grease?
2)have you ever had to replace the piston rings?
3)have u ever have the cylinder re-honed?
4)have you ever had to replace the bottom wrap up bearings?
5)have you ever have to replace the little end bearing?

if the seller have replied yes to questions 2,3,4 or 5. don't buy the bike because this can head to future problems. e.g piston through the side of the engine and explicitly a disaster.

Any big bore kit for 2008 honda...

If your going to race, I would utter get the 4 stroke. They still allow the 250 2 stroke to see against the 450 4 strokes, and the 125/144's to race against the 250 4 strokes. If you grasp a 2 stroke, they will have replacement parts for them.....P.S. I would return with a 2 stroke, that's me though. I love the sound and power of them.
