Answers: ZX 14 has more power but is substantially heavier than the Suzuki. ZX 14 will has a complex top speed, GSXR is better handling, faster around a track.

I own the ZZR1400/ZX-14R and i test rode both bikes (and more) earlier i bought the Kwak !
The Suzuki will handle better in sharp bends (the zx is still great) but when you weave the throttle back on the ZX.OMG You better hang on its awesome (understatement) ! It really does manipulate well for its size and you cant feel the mass and its got so much power ! (you could get a busa but the zx is better looking and have tons more class)
I`ve had it 6 months and done 7000 miles and it rides like a dream ! (did 600 miles contained by a day ! try doing that on a litre sports bike)
The GSX is still a great bike but the ZX is in a league of its own !!

If you want acceleration the ZX will murder The GSXR and as for `a bit` comfort and safekeeping ? Its a 186mph (it will do that with a gear to spare cos its limited) Hyperbike ! What are you talking more or less ? Have you ever ridden a really fast bike ?

Both of them are 4-cylindres. Therefore it discludes alot. The 1400cc will hold more power on paper, but will feel much heavier. On the other paw the 1000cc is lighter and its weight/power ratio is far better.If you want to ride a bit more comfortable, i'd choose the ZX-14. (although the drivingstyle is alot like a racer)
