93....find new mobile
It could be that your battery have simply gone bad. To find out if this is your problem remove the mobile and hook it up to a charger if it takes a charge consequently you will have to verbs the next suspect.
At this point I would look for any comprehensible wiring problems from the rectifier(same as an alternator on a car) to the battery-operated. I am assuming that your bikes runs when you push start it(that means the rectifier is right since it producing enough current to power the motor). I aversion finding the bad or broken chain but it is easier with a amp meter so you may hold to go and win one if you do not already have one. Good Luck finding it!
If it will not run beside a dead mobile then it is most possible your rectifier. These can be purchased used off eBay for almost 1/4 of the price of a new one if you would be feeling like to go that route, but seeing that your bike is a 93 you may enjoy to bite the bullet and get a bright one. I always check for deal on-line before paying the dealership too much for a part of a set you can get for smaller number, once again good luck hopefully you can return with it back together to soak up some of the last correct riding weather before winter comes.
Answers: Usually one of 4 different issues:
- Blown battery
- Blown Regulator/Rectifier
- Blown alternator (stator)
- Blown electrics harness.
Most common issue is that the mobile has gone fruitless.
