can anyone help me find a spark on my honda domiator 650nx ive been trying for 2 years so i involve help
Answers: Get a interview light, the simple generic munificent and plug it into the coil connections. If it comes on and flashes the problem is down stream from there.
Check the coil resistance, most of them are 3K ohm. If you hold a known honourable coil or have acces to a cast-offs yard be shure its the right resistance and voltage. Plugs cable and plug cap are commonly available and you would be better past its sell-by date replacing them anyway.
If the test pale doesen't light up check the ignition sensor, usually the wires come out of the right appendage engine cover. Check the resistance with an Ohm meter to put together shure its not open.
If it adjectives checks out and the wiring and plugs are honourable check your timing marks. At this stage you are probably looking at a bleak CDI box. A dealer can carry you the test parameter but if thats the problem the box is not repairable and very expensive.
The coil flex or plug are more likely. Also on some bikes the engine will crank and not fire if the switch on the handlebar is discouraging. Some bikes have sanctuary interlocks that ground out the ignition. Anyway get a instruction manual for it or at least a similar bike, its worth the money.
You're going to enjoy to go through a process of closure. Does the battery hold a charge? Are the freestyle connections clean? Is electrcity reaching the ignition coil(s)? Do the coils produce spark at the spark plugs? If no to any of the above, next there's other ways to narrow down the rummage through for th eproblem through bypassing certain components. It's too involved to travel through everything here, but if you find a problem with any of the above four, email me and I'll pass you easy ways to backing narrow down the problem.
