This is 2007, fuel injected model. When it idles, it sounds similar to it's running about 1500 rpm (has no tach) and the owner's brochure shows "no adjustment" for the idle speed. I be wondering if it's possible to remap the computer just to slow the languish a bit. Anyone know? Thanks! K ;o)

i enjoy a 2007 kawasaki vilcan 900 custom, i havent had this problem, but if you gain a PCIII or an FI2000R you can change the map that way. If you are looking at adding together pipes and some kind of intake (BAK utensils, hypercharger or tornado) you are going to need one anyway. I would recommend the PCIII (power commander) from Dynojet, it have maximum adjustment possibilities. If you dont want to go this route, afterwards i would recommend taking it to the dealer that you enjoy purchased it from and tell them your concern.
