Pit bike as first bike?

I want to get a pit bike (probably Orion) as first bike, simply because it is smal, light, and would be easier to control than a 125, 250, etc. next I will advance to a full size bike...think that make sense?.P.S. I would be getting a full size dirt bike...not a street bike

Just get a 125 four stroke. Easy to ride and if it's a dirt bike, you're gonna throw it down anyways.

Any bike is dangerous, even a pit bike. I've see someone decapitated by riding a pit bike without a helmet.

Answers: i did the same thing when i get my first dirt bike..i had a 125 orion and loved it..they are pretty quick little bikes too and really fun to ride...in a minute im riding a kx 125 no problem
