Removing grease gaue?

How exactly do you remove an oil horizontal gauge on a kawasaki er5 so it can be cleaned and what is the best opening to put it back?

How much is my kdx worth?!?!?!?!?

Answers:    I assume you have it in mind the oil even sight cup, situated in the right-hand crankcase, a short time ago ahead of the clutch housing? These often become 'cloudy', when condensation occur and causes the grease to emulsify.

Unfortunately, the sight chalice is actually part of the pack of the crankcase and is fitted from the inside, before the engine is assembled at the factory.

This give you two options:

1) Easy resort - drain the old engine grease out, run some flushing oil through the engine to verbs it, empty that out and later refill next to fresh engine oil.

2) Difficult alternative - drain the old engine grease out, dismantle the entire engine, remove the right-hand crankcase, physically clean the verbs glass from the inside, re-assemble the engine and saturate it up with fresh grease.
