i desperately need a master cyl (or go back to the beginning kit) for my bike. the rebuild utensils would be preferred, but here in the philippines are impossible to win. does anyone know a surplus parts supplier here? or does anyone have a second mitt (or new) master cylinder to suit? (eg: xs350-650, cb400-750, even a srx350-600 should fit).

Answers: I wouldn't recommend you purchasing a modernize kit.
A special tool is required to recreate (90 degree snap ring pliers).
Search the network for "motorcycle salvage" and call around.
almost any will fit, i own used one off a four wheeler on my proverb 650 and i have a suzuki one on my cr500. dont tolerate anyone tell you you own to get one model specific it is not true. plentiful companys use the same one for adjectives their bikes and just renovate levers. sorry i dont own one for ya but this might help your scour. good luck.
