How to Obtain a California Motorcycle Operator License
To get your motorcycle worker license in California, there are three different license processes, depending on your age – younger than 18; 18 to 20; age 21 and older.
Younger than 18
Step 1: You must successfully complete a driver’s education and driver’s training program if you are between the ages of 15 1/2 and 17 1/2 . You may switch on with Step 2 if you have a Class C automotive driver’s license, hold completed driver’s education and training, or are older than 17 1/2 . Step 2: You must successfully complete the CHP-approved Basic RiderCourse offered by the California Motorcyclist Safety Program. Before you enroll within the Basic RiderCourse, check to make sure you have done one of the following: 1) successfully completed a classroom driver’s rearing program;
2) obtained a motorcycle or motor vehicle instruction permit; 3) hold a valid Class C automotive driver’s license. To enroll contained by the Basic RiderCourse call toll-free, 877.RIDE.411. Upon successful completion of the Basic RiderCourse, you will be given a Certificate of Completion of Motorcycle Training (DL 389).
Pay the $27 application fee when you apply for any unmarked or change of class permit or license. It will not be returned. The levy is good for 12 months and allows you to take the appropriate decree test(s) three times, if needed, during that period. The fee pays for both the instruction warranty and driver license, if you qualify for both within the 12-month period. If the application expires, you must resubmit documents, repay the application excise, and retake the required tests.
What is the cost of the course?
The cost of the CMSP Basic Course will be no more than $250.00 for riders who are 21 years old and elder and $150 for under 21 years old. Please be aware that tuition for the Basic RiderCourse does not include DMV fees associated near obtaining your motorcycle license.

Please pilfer MC training courses. This will help speed up your mastery of the needed skills for cycle riding and it will help near insurance. Which, BTW, will be quit expensive. Do you have any off road cycling experience? My sour road riding skills that I acquired a long time ago continue to minister to keep me out of harm track.
Good Luck!!
