Is a 250cc motorcycle risk-free on the...

Answers:    If you own never ridden before and plan to thieve the Motorcycle Safety course, you will find that the bikes you learn on are 250cc motorcycles. These are adequate for beginners. After the class, find a traditional style (sitting straight up) used bike anywhere from 250-650cc. You don't need to pay packet too much. Ride the bike for 6 months starting with neighborhood rides and build your skills. If you are still hot for a larger bike within 6 months, go for it. Don't jump down for the image of "Only a Harley Will Do". Harley Davidson's are a fine bike, don't get hold of me wrong - just not for a greenhorn. But just remember, the sale guy wants you to spend as much as possible and won't be out in attendance on the road near you. Play it smart, start small build up. I have owned countless motorcycles since I started riding surrounded by 1966. Started on a 50cc and now ride a Goldwing. I am at smallest as large as you and own been since High School. You enjoy plenty of miles to go. Ride secure and have a great time!! You'll love it!

John
