When i have the money, i want to go and get a bike, and that bike would be the ZX-14. But i'm not so sure that it would be good for each day driving.
- Anyone who owns a bike or ever ridden one(or similar to one as of a ZX-14)?
- How is it for daily driving?
Answers: Tom B have a point... The Concours 14 has duplicate motor as the ZX14; but with unpredictable valve timing. So you will achieve better response at lower rpm and you don't have to rev the hell out of it to cause power (even though the ZX14 has some suitable low end grunt).
I don't know how far or much you plan on riding this bike, but any crotch rocket I've be on sucks after about 10min for me, the riding position isn't comfortable, though I discern that the ZX14 has for a time better riding position than most.
I'm not going to tell you what to buy, but perchance you should actually look at the Concours, and why not... It have hard side plenty that are easily removable, an adjectives seating position, better fuel cutback, tire pressure monitor, and an electric adjustable windshield. It is a sport tourer, and acts close to one, its a crotch rocket underneath. And the price is similar...
