Hello. I am interested in getting a Triumph motorcycle from the 1960s or 1970s, or even elder. What is a good mileage for those bikes. Also are rebuild 'classics' good? Are they considered classics if they are rebuild? I just similar to the look of old Triumphs. It is extremely subtle.
Answers: Everyone above is talking MPG.
If you mingy how many miles are on the odometer, that can rise and fall greatly.
Some bikes were seldom ridden, put away, and left to rot.
Others have the wheels ridden rotten them.
Even if rebuilt, it's still a classic, as long as OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts are used.
I've have many 60's (and 2 70's) Triumphs within the past.
They're amazingly assured to work on.
About 20 to 24 MPG
