I have a KTM 85SX Big Wheel at the moment, I have be riding that for 1 month and before that I have have a 200cc 4-stroke pit bike, They both don't have enough power, I know what you are going to ruminate about what i'm about to read out, "oh that's far to big" "are you trying to kill yourself?" and so on, but here it goes,
I'm 13 and 100 pounds, and 5'1, And i be thinking about getting a CR250R that's right a 250 2 stroke, it actully has the lowest form height in adjectives of the 250 2T range, and even has a lower form height than all the 125's 2T, (except Kawasaki),
I reckon i would enjoy no trouble handling it, seeing that it is only 4cm taller than my KTM, but it is like 25 kilos heavier, I don`t know a CR125R, might be better, I don't know, what do you reckon, (BTW all 85's are too small, and i 'm not into Kawasaki's that much).

+1 for the 125. It'll receive you a better racer when you eventually move up to a 250. It'll teach you a lot roughly slipping the clutch and keeping the bike in the powerband.

Gradually go up. Yes, an 85 is too small for you, but don't fly to a 250, get a 125 first. I think a 250 is course too big for you. And, they are heavy! If you go down, it's really thorny to get it back up!
Actually, my son rode a 125 for a long, long time. Around here everyone race 4-strokes now. It's hard to find copious racers that race 2-strokes. I really liked the 2-strokes though.
