10 puntooos! plsss.. mY honda VFR ,...

I found a great buy in a local newspaper, but I be lucky. If you have an idea of what type of cycle you are interested contained by and have made the decision to purchase unknown or used, it can't hurt to check with a dealer. There you attain a bike that is supposed to have be checked and serviced. If you are not a handyman this can be a good decision. If you are not against possible repair, check the want ad and where cycle riders hang out. Find a cheaper purchase or a apt buy. If nothing else, keep your eyes expand. Someone may have an unpolished jewel sitting surrounded by the garage !

I want to polish chrome plating on...

Most bikers I know that buy used bikes (excellent way to store money) by at craigslist or ebay.

I have found ebays prices tend to be higher which is great if you are selling a bike, you tend to return with more however it costs about $35 to list your bike for public sale there.

You can get bikes cheaper at craigslist and to deal in a bike it costs nothing at all thus the lower price for the bikes.

I would never buy a tentative bike from a dealer, not that they are crooks or swindlers its just that the flaw up is waaaaay too high and its a bad means of access to spend money.

Heres an example of what I mean. When you first get a bike you own to pay through the noise surrounded by taxes and registration fees and then you have to compensate IMMEDIATLY the first service and second service which is a lot of money as you go through the break contained by period.

However after the first 3000 miles or so when the bike has have its expensive servicing done then its a good time to buy the bike from the owner used.

He have already done the service, he'll show you the receipts
He has already paid the taxes and registration and the tags/sticker are on the bike so that save you money.
He has already done the boring break in time where you have to ride it slow for a long time.

All you do is buy it and relish as you let the previous owner do all the boring things.

In some ways its better to buy used with low miles when someone understands this.

When is a virtuous time to buy from a dealer if ever?
Sometimes dealers hold specials like in the winter time where on earth you can finance a bike 0 apr for like a few years and no money down so surrounded by this case if someone has pious credit and low cash they can go up to date but still they will need cash for the first few servicings which cost an arm and a leg.

Another item is most dealers won't let you check drive the bike as per liability reasons and I can't say I blame them too much or you'd own all these crazy idiots wanting to test the hottest R1 and they'd be crashing all the bikes right and left..or stealing them.

But used 1/2 the time the owner will agree to you ride it and test drive it. Even if you meet contained by a large parking lot you can test drive it in attendance.

So to sum up the answer if you are SELLING a bike use ebay (I sold my bike on ebay got a good price).

When you are BUYING a bike use Craigslist
(I bought my zx10 on craigslist get a good price)
I bought my gsxr1k off Craigslist.org. There is also monkeyads.com, cycletrader and check your local bike buyer websites. But be careful for scams, don't by anything since seeing it in person and/or seeing it ridden. Don't distribute any money to anyone and don't over pay just because your anxious and excited and want to hurry and catch a bike. I was very merciful and got mine at a steal deal.

Did anyone else dance "Hoggin the Bridge"...
