If you want cheap, the first torque wrench i had be from Argos - lb15.
I recommend having 2. Halfords are good ample for home use. Get an old bendy-bar type for small stuff and a ratchet jobby for higher torques. You hold to remember torque wrenches are pretty approximate at best and in a precision environment have to be recalibrated next to every single use. All things considered, spending a fortune on one is a bit of a waste of money but on the other hand don't capture one off the market.

Actually, no matter what brand you buy, they should be periodically recalibrated, or if dropped or hit on something.

sparkey is right, but a good alternative would be Halfords. they usually fetch a life time guarantee on their tools, but check this would be included first.
