Who win the hole shot?

do you have a 2 stroke 250?
does your friend have a 4 stroke 450?
hold you guys ever did a holeshot or drag race the bikes?
who won?
please don't write who you think would win, with the sole purpose answer this if you have put the bikes side by side and raced them.

Which is the so call "men-killer" motorcycle?

The hole shot is one of the biggest advantages the 450F have over the 250. Obviously many people on this forum do not follow MX race. This is a very well set fact by anyone that knows squat roughly speaking motocross. That was Stewart's main complaint when Kawasaki be the only team still riding the 250. Sure adequate as soon as Kawasaki released the 450F James started getting hole shots. Come on people it's not 1980 anymore.

I enjoy a 200cc two stroke, and it can hold it's own. but it is jsut about stock.

Now you can go adjectives out with a two stroke scooter, and race a sport bike. The proof is here

The 2 stoke will win 9 times out of ten near comparable riders, but the key is the rider. These things almost always come down to have more experience, or more accurately who knows how to launch their bike better, since the separation of the bikes is so close. If you want to win that rather than getting a different bike purely practice, practice and practice some more. I drag race the quarter mile on a local track with a CBR600f4i (it have a few mods most notably an extended swing arm) against anything ans since I have have it for so long it more than wins it's fair share. A kid on a busa is toast since I can launch it better than him but the best guy nearby has a four year old ( I guess five now) ninja. Take the time to swot up your bike and you will benefit greatly. On a dirt bike you will not have the benefit of a tach, heck the traction will vary greatly, but near enough experience you will beat most.

Can I install a Yoshimura Rs3 exhaust...

Answers:    hard for any 250 2 stroke to verbs a hole shot on my KTM 525 but that's an open class bike... I have feint up with many 250 2t and 450 4t ... the 450 is by far quicker to the first corner beside comparible riders.

it's a lot to do with the rider within all reality... I enjoy a friend with a KDX200 (yes, an enduro bike, not MX) and I would bet on him hands down against any non-pro on any a 250 2t or 450 4t...

sorry, but look at the pros ... if they weren't competitive on a 4 stroke, they wouldn't be riding them... also, go to any local MX track and look at the different classes from pro, A, B, C, novice ... now-a-days, virtually adjectives are won (both hole shot and races) by the much improved 4 stroke ... but likewise, they are a 450cc versus a 250cc...

I totally agree it virtually comes down to rider and how they are competent to launch off the gate ... but adjectives things equal, the 4 stroke is hands down a full bike length ahead into turn one 95% of the time at most levels.
