i'm trying to get the indicators to work on my dt50mx and when i removed the reservoir to get at the flasher element i found a small black box 2 or 3 cm's and 1 cm flat it has two prongs coming of it + and - one of witch is broke stale and the wire is a moment ago hanging nearby can anyone tell me what this box is?? what its call ??could it be why my indicators don't work??
Answers: Yes its probably why your indicators dont work. its called "flasher relay" if your bike is 12v you can use a sports car one. if 6v you need the correct one for the bike. you might know how to get the telecommunication soldered back on to it.
