Hi i have a 98 zx6r f3, running fine until yestrday it wont rev cleanly just bogs down and sounds really rough almost similar to its running on 3 cylinders or the choke is on, cant seem to rev it past 7k although it idle fine.. what should i start looking at?

Answers: sounds like a fuel volume problem to me, I'd def. check your carbs, probably need a fitting soak, I'd also check your fuel filter, and fuel pump, could just be your throttle cable as well, but I doubt it.

Did you achieve fuel yesterday? I have received bad gas several times that have water in it. It will put together an engine run like crap. Get a couple gallons of GOOD gas, drain the old stuff and try again. (You can other pour it back in later)

98 zx6r f3 never heard of a 98 zx6r f3. ZX6r is a Kawaski 600. The F3 was a Honda 600. In any case if the model year is correct I would have the Carbs checked.
