Which is the overall superior bike?
I am asking about these two bikes only, no busas, no CBRs, no yamahas, no 750s, no 1000s.
Just these two bikes lone. gixer pal mad as brush and swiftly as fu*k
Both of these bikes will perform about like. Both are just as reliable and durable.
So you should base your choice on comfort and style.
I prefer Kawa ZX-6R
Look at the specs, dance down and sit on each one. Which one feels better? I resembling the ZX-6R, but I'm not you.

Answers: You're gonna get purely opinion here my friend, and I don't be a sign of me, but every response you get. I am a die hard Kawi hanger-on, but reliability and durability are going to be pretty much equal. The difference in performance is negligable and will other come down to the rider whether on the street or the track. (I just heard of a guy that won a Superbike see recently on an old F2 against 900's and 1000's). What you gotta look at is what is most comfortable for you first of adjectives. (I road a Yammy R1 and it is the MOST uncomfortable bike I've ever been on. If I have bought that bike without riding it first, I would have kill myself) Second, what has the sexiest eye appeal to you. You want to get something you find HOT! This will product you proud of your ride and want to take care of it. Finally, look at the details of the bike. Does one own a cubby hole to put your change in or own more storage under the seat or the helmet holders flowing to get at and lock (I've seen some that are brutally hard). Like I say aloud, my first bike was a Ninja 750, then a ZX-10 and two ZX-11's. That's adjectives I've ever owned. They were the most comfortable for me, had awesome running and I never had a problem with any of them, but gixxers are a clothed bike too and I have had tons buddies that I ride with own them and have pleasant experiences too..
Good luck!!

For the recent past few years, Motorcyclist magazine and Moto-World both have said that the ZX-6R is the better track day bike, but the GSX-R 600 is the better bike to live beside. So I guess it depends on how you plan to ride. Is this bike going to be a track day beast, beside an occasional blast to the local bike night, or is this going to be an every day commute bike that get occasional blasts down country roads and a track day once in a while?
An honest answer to those two question should net you the better bike for your particular wishes.
