Right now, abundantly of states legal driving target is 16. I am doing a survey for an English project on who thinks the legally recognized age to drive should be changed to at least 18 contained by all states? Thanks for the imput!!
I surmise it's stupid. A lot of teens have job to go to. Plus I firmly believe the accident are as high as they are because they enjoy not become aware of defending drivng. Learning that they have to adjust their own driving to accomadate the bleak drivers out there. They entail to think ahead of time that the driver across or ahead of them will do something wrong. Changing the age will not make over the experience it takes to be a obedient driver. As I am out and about driving who do I see next to poor judgement? It sure as heck isn't the teens. New drivers are expecting everyone to follow the rules of the road and that simply is not the case. Therefore accident happen because they are not competent to predict an outcome. It certanly does not help when society wait til their kids are surrounded by Drivers Ed. before they educate their kids how to drive and the rules of the road.
Obviously, the raise of the driving age to 18 would have its advantages and disadvantages.
However, I direct your attention to the following statistic:
Between 1995 and 2004, in that were 30,917 fatalities surrounded by accidents that involved 15-to-17-year-old drivers, according to a study by the AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety. About a third of those death were the teen drivers themselves. The rest be pedestrians, passengers, and race in cars that pubescent drivers struck.
That is a very staggering statistic.
I am adjectives for saving lives on our roadways.
