I'm trying to ground an amp and the seat belt bolt seem like a flawless solution since it obviously have to be connected to a strong metal structure. (Like maybe the frame of a motor?)
Answers: your seat belts are in some way bolted to the frame.... but all cabs are grounded to the frames by agency of ground straps so....... electrically speaking yep......Your Grounded.......Daryl

The body will be grounded to the frame, sometimes this ground is corroded but it's probably good to travel, if you take out a form belt bolt to put on a ground wire, label sure you tighten the seat belt bolt put money on as tight as it was past.
