My car wishes new tyres and my neighbour suggested buying them second foot and saving heaps of money, he reckon you can buy them with 3/4 unproved tread left, what do you reckon?
Answers: This is going to depend on where you buy them from and how prehistoric they are when you by them. It isprobaly ok to buy one as a spare but I would not want to run them constantly.
You wouldn't eat 3/4 of a moved out over steak.... and the use of used tires is not the best idea.... the few dollars you free will
not offset the problems you are buying for yourself when you own a blow-out or flat.... Safety is a big issue here and it is worth the extra 10 or 20 $ per tyre/tire to have peace of mind
