Australians one and only - speed precincts within academy zone during the holidays?

I pass through a school zone every afternoon. The speed limit in it is 40km/h during arts school hours.

As it is the school holidays right now, and thus technically not 'school hours', does the limit still apply?

What convertible saloon form would you recommend?

I have other wondered this myself...
I figure it isn't officially university hours so slowing down isn't going to save any lives... but the signs are still there.
Hmmmm
I wouldn't stir through at 100 clicks but I don't think there's a cop out there policing those areas during arts school holidays.

To be 100% sure call your local police station and ask them.
Yes it still applies, I have hear of people been booked for this!

I witnessed a man?

Yes. Rules are rules and they still apply for any situations. So the answer is yes.

yes it does. you will notice signs that read 'when children present'. that means no business what day or time it is as long as there are children present, any on the footpath or in direct sight, you hold to obey those speed limits.

I'd check beside the local police. Don't know Australian laws but in the US college holidays are NOT considered to be school hours.
