Please help settle this riff between my husband and myself. He say that it is better to have a blow-out (at 55-75 mph) on the front of a vehichle because you hold control over the car. I say-so it would be better if the blow-out was on the backbone, my philosophy(?) is: I would rather hold the back wrapping up swerving around while tryinto to slow down rather than the front extremity heading into oncoming traffic.

Answers: I gotta agree with the female on this one. I've actually have a right rear tiller come completely off while driving 55mph past and I was competent to glide to a undisruptive stop on the shoulder(in a 4x4 pickup)........then my rudder passed me up and I had to run after it...looked resembling a total jackass!
i would prefer a rear blow out if i have to have one...easier to control the vehicle.
