Can I drive people when I turn 18? Ive have my license for 8 months now. And on the DMV site they read out:
"When you turn 18 years of age, the provisional part of your license ends. You may verbs to drive as an adult using your photo license, which will expire on your 5th birthday after the date you applied."
"Q. Will I still be restricted when I turn age 18?
A. When you turn age 18, you will no longer be beneath the provisional driver license restrictions."
So can I drive people or not when I turn 18. and do I in recent times use my provsiional license until it expires?
Answers: If you are under the age of 18 and want to apply for a license, you must go and get training and hold a provisional license before you're issued a full, unrestricted license at 18.
You'll start by taking a classroom driver's schooling class and getting a learner's permit. Then you'll lift behind-the-wheel driver's training and practice driving under the supervision of your parents. When you afterwards pass the road examination and become licensed, for the first year you can't drive with any teenagers contained by the car or overdue at night.
But surrounded by a nutshell, California (like most states) employs a graduate driver licensing program, where on earth teens are issued a series of increasingly unrestricted licenses while they become more confident doing a tour with practice.
For those 18 and over, the process for getting a driver's license is for a moment simpler because no driver's education or driver's training is required. Instead, you may go by the written exam simply by studying the California Drivers Handbook. You will then be issued a learner's contract allowing you to practice driving as long as a licensed driver 18 or older is contained by the passenger seat near you. When you're ready, appropriate the driving test and bring back your full license.
