Car Accident- flipped over- is it commonplace?

i was within an accident and my saloon hit the median, flipped twice in midair, land on its wheels and me and the passenger be fine besides a scratch on his knees, we were wearing seatbelts. Is this predictable becuase we wore form belts or are we just lucky..? the sports car was totaled, it be cuz we sliped on ice- swerved, which caused us to hit the median, flip over a couple times surrounded by midair...is it expected that me n the passesnger wouldnt realy be hurt? or is it shocking...

Why do trucks say aloud "Caution Air...

Answers:    The best anyone can tell you is that the seatbelts probably contributed to the certainty that you and the passenger survived intact. Injuries COULD have happen, but not as severe as those you would have incurred if you have not been belted.

Think nearly where, contained by or out of the car, you might enjoy ended up after the vehicle come back down. The belts kept you snugged up against the pad car form, bolted to the solid steel of the car.

Where can I find a reliable source...

I'd speak you were lucky, if the vehicle flipped. I'm curious, what make and model vehicle were you surrounded by? That ice is so harmful, just pay attention in the adjectives! We're all glad you're ok!
