Have you ever experienced a car quirk and or any accident that could own cost your or someone elses life? How did you have a feeling and how did you get over it?
Answers: Cincinnati is a city of hill. There are some roads along the side of hills that own bridges over them that are higher on one failure and lower on the other end ... the bridge is approaching a hill slope. I bookish from an accident that I stipulation to know where those bridges are, and avoid them similar to the plague during winter icy weather.
I was driving one evening slowly because in that was a winter storm ... several inches already on the ground, more freezing stuff falling on the ground. I guess I be doing about 15 mph because I have seen like mad of cars skidding around, spinning wheels, etc.
As I approached the bridge, nearby were a bunch of general public at the top, waving ... I wave back. Friendly relations. I was not aware of the notion that they be there wave to alert drivers that there be a serious problem ahead.
As I started down the bridge slope, I was amazed at adjectives the people cars pointed surrounded by all kind of directions ... I thought what are those dumb *** people doing? I meekly applied my brakes, thinking it might be smart to steer past those general public a little slower ... oh **** my saloon is rolling faster ... I downshifted ... oh **** my car is rolling faster ... presently I knew why adjectives those dumb *** people cars be in crazy positions & why a bunch of ethnic group at top of hill be waving
There be a car parked sideways across the middle of the bridge. I tried to steer around it, no such luck. I hit that guy!!! I could not backing it. I was doing possibly 25 mph at the time. No time to look back to see what happen to him because there's a bunch more cars every which way for me to try to steer around.
When the police arrived, they call it a 20 car pile up, within which it was not a soul driver fault, in recent times bad road conditions. Fortunately the insurance company rewarded for my car repairs and not a soul was seriously hurt.
But any time I am surrounded by any accident it scare the ******** out of me ...We could have be killed! We could hold seriously hurt someone else!!! I then try to analyse what be I doing wrong that got me into the situation where on earth the accident happen ... what should I be doing differently to avoid getting into that kind of situation contained by the future?
Sometimes after an twist of fate, or a near miss, I am too shook up to drive for several days afterwards.
When I be about 8 my mom tried to run across a 4 lane road and didn't make it across. She tried to swerve and spun out next hit a car that be going the other way. We spun around and after hit the curb on the side we came from. I will utter that ever since then I ALWAYS wear my seatbelt when I bring in a sports car. I wasn't really shaken up though. I was more impressed by the car(it be an old(even at the time) Corolla.
