Car alarms?

Ok a couple days ago my car be brutally broken in to. They pulled the fanlight frame about 4-5inches rotten the top of the car, busted my drivers pane, chips in paint from crowbar or anything they used, I mean a legitimate big deal. They stole nought so I have the sensation they just needed to hurt my baby. The stock alarm did NOT GO OFF. It's a 2001 Saab 9-3 which is not a cheap coup¨¦ and you'd expect the alarm to go rotten with such spoil and force being done. So that's it I want an aftermarket one so I can turn brutally break into their head when somebody tries to do this to my sports car again. I was thinking the Viper 5002. Opinions please?

TODAY'S ALARMS REALLY DON'T DO ANYTHING AND IF A THIEF WANTS SOMETHING THEY WILL TAKE IT.

I HEAR THEM ALL THE TIME MAKING THAT SOUND AND NO ONE EVEN CARES OR CALLS THE POLICE ANYMORE.

IF YOU DO CALL THE POLICE THEY ALWAYS SAY THAT THEY WILL SEND SOMEONE OUT AND MOST OF THE TIME THEY DON'T.

Answers:    The viper is a biddable alarm system, but what you need is anything near a motion or shock sensor(shock necessary)
The factory alarm has neither, and if they did not friendly the door at all, later it is normal that the alarm did not travel off.
So the viper have a shock sensor I believe, and I also believe a motion can be added to it.

Sounds like a right plan, remember to shoot with a silencer, don''t wanna bring busted proteting her.
