Cell phones+ Gasoline= Explosions?

Well, my dad told me a story about his friend's friend dying because his vehicle exploded. He told me that his friend's friend was bringing a container of gasoline to his friend and the container be in the trunk of his saloon and he was contained by the driver's seat and picked up a give the name from his cell phone. Which made his car explode. How does this come up?

Answers:    This is easy to numeral out. Gas cans are not surely air tight. Gas vapor escaped from the can, made their style through the car, and when the cell phone ring it emitted lately enough of a spark to wreak the explosion. Yes, it an happen.
