Ok, so I know cops can catch you speeding by sitting on the side of the road near their radar gun, but can they catch you while they are driving? For example, you're on the freeway going north, and a cop pass you going south, can he/she tell how brisk you are going? Also, if you and the cop are going the same direction (the cop is behind you)?
Answers: As have been an Explorer for the CHP and have rode in the 'Radar' saloon, I can tell you that they own a forward and rear radar. At the click of a button (either radar forward, or radar rear) will prompt the radar in the requested direction.
