NOT ASKING HOW.
My car is low on break fluid. Will the mechanic be able to update if someone did this deliberately? Or is it even possible for someone to do that now-a-days?
I'm concerned because I thought it was really unusual for your break fluid to just 'run out' (unless someone tampered beside it).
I have a 2004 Tribute if that helps.
Your lines have NOT been cut. You any need new lining or there is a leak within the system.
It will be pretty easy to spot.
trust me.. if someone cut your lines as soon as they are looked at you can spot if they were cut or a short time ago were old. i parsimonious its a 2004 so the lines shouldnt be old and start breaking.. you might just hold a small hole... but it is very easy to spot if they be messed with or cut.
freshly fix it, silly. stop being all paranoid.

The brake fluid will shift down as the brake pads wear down. If your lines have be cut a mechanic will be able to tell. That is benign of scary.
Also, consider getting a web camera and set it up to monitor your car/stream to your PC. If you reason someone is messing with your vehicle you need to see who it is!

Yes a mechanic can see if the lines have been cut or not. Just because it's low doesn't necessarily be going to they have been cut though. Do you enjoy some enemies?
Most predictable it is a mechanical problem unless you have someone vindictive after you that might possibly serving spoon that low!

you could hold a leak on one of the cylinders, a leaking fitting etc, it freshly runs out after time, if someone cut your brake pipe you would have no brakes at all first time you push pedal
If your brake rank has been cut, it will most feasible be a "clean" cut and will be easy to spot but that probably isn't the case.
Your brake fluid is surrounded by an enclosed environment which means that it is not supposed to bleed. When the brake fluid is low in the resevoir, it usually is an indicator that the your brake pads are wearing low. Normally, when the pad are low, you will hear a squeeling sound as you break. That's squeeling is the brake indicator telling you to own your brakes checked.
Considering that it's a 2004. You might be due for a brake service.

Answers: I hold seen some brake lines cut just slightly and some that enjoy been poked with a pin and yes the mechanic can describe if it was an accident or if someone did it.
If it be done deliberately I would call the police from the repair shop and bring back this on file along with an affidavit from the repair shop for adjectives reference and for your protection.

You do need to check your brake fluid regularly because it can and does sometimes leach out. It's not that hard to do and usually be done in freshly a few seconds.
