You're not very clear contained by this question. Can I assume you're talking just about fuel mileage??

If so, then yes, the slower you drive the better fuel mileage you get. I am a truck driver. My company bought me a fresh truck a couple years ago. They could not understand why the fuel mileage was so poor. I drove the truck exactly as I did the weak one, about 70 mph on the interstate. I started driving the new one at 64 mph, and the fuel mileage increased drastically. Speed does affect fuel mileage, despite what some disbelievers enunciate.

Our family drives a few Mercedes diesel cars, and I have notice a significant increase in fuel mileage on those as well, lately slowing down. Leave early when you need to stir somewhere, so you can drive a little slower. I'm sure you'll see an increase in fuel mileage.
