Driver's ed?

I'm a teenager and I own my learner's permit.
I did driver's ed by doing the parent-taught course.
My parents want me to transport driver's ed to make sure that I am a righteous driver. They say that they will discern safer with me doing a tour if a professional teaches me.
The singular problem is, I don't have time to move about to driver's ed.
It is 5 days a week, 2 hours a day.
I am involved within a lot of extra curricular accomplishments and I work.
I sugguested to them that I take a deffensive driving course.
They said that this isn't a appropriate idea.
I feel it is, because I can take the course on Saturdays and they drill you how to be safe.
Does this nouns like a well-mannered idea?
Any suggestions?
I really want to acquire my license.

Answers:    I'm sure the defensive driving course have plenty of good information, however it's focused towards populace who already know how to drive. Driver's ed will teach you abundant of the basics that deterrent driving won't even touch on.
