Driving surrounded by the winter?

I have solitary driven 1 winter so far in canada and found it spine pulling and heart stopping. I have a 94 Chrysler LHS and can't afford a unsullied car - my quiz is.. is it safe to drive within a lower gear or will i wreak the car?

Do pedestrians own the right of mode...

Answers:    The good looks of an automatic transmission, which i am sure your LHS have, is that it AUTOMATICALLY choses the correct gear for you, depending upon the speed of the engine. I don't know if your car is equipped beside ABS, but if it is not, then when travelling downhill on snow or rime, i would suggest putting the transmission within a lower gear that allows you to go down the mount at a speed which makes you grain comfortable without have to apply your non-ABS braking system, which could cause you to skid if you apply too much pressure. Traction is enhanced when immensity is applied over the drive wheels - your LHS is most potential front wheel driven, so don't listen to anyone who advise you to put sand bags contained by your trunk....it will not change anything. Probably the most key advice something like driving during or after snow has fall is to avoid driving unless absolutely requisite, and if you do, drive at the speed at which YOU feel most comfortable and confident that you can control your coup¨¦ safely - don't try to "hold up with the other guy" - you will probably see him latter on, when he is in a ditch and you are soundly rolling past him. If I may also suggest, up to that time you must suddenly learn how to knob your car surrounded by the case of a skid, thieve your car out into a significant lot where you won't hit anything and purposely put your motor into a skid, and you can not only revise the feeling of losing control, but also amount out what to do to gain control back. If you own never been unbridled on snow before, you will not enjoy the presence of mind to get the control put a bet on - you will be too busy freaking out......

Ladder Accidents?

drive at the highest gear possible to prevent excessive pedals spin. Don't engine brake, and if you do downshift, do it smoothly at low rpms. Also you should invest in some tire chains.
