The US is a car friendly place, the concluding time i went within (Florida) it cost me 41c per litre for unleaded fuel
IN THE UK IT COST'S AROUND 93.9p Per litre (at the current exchange rate that works out around $1.86 or thereabouts)
As far as the insurance, i think it's something like the same, but instead of renewing your tag, we pay a "Road Fund Licence" nickname the tax disc, it can cost up to lb450 per year ($900) depending on the emission of the car.. the saloon i drive, a 1.4 Mercedes A140 costs lb165 ($330) per year but some cars dont pay at adjectives if they have incredibly low emissions..
I'd read out also that the US is a lot fairer to it's drivers overall, surrounded by the UK we get tax on everything, and the stealth taxes are obscene here...
