I live in colorado. How heaps miles under the posted speed consideration are you supposed to be driving when it rains.
Answers: here's the broad rule of thumb i use. the first 5-10 mins of a rain will be the slickest time until the grease washes away, especially if it's be a few weeks since the last rainfall. i tend to reduce speed by 5-10 mph below the limit, more if the rainfall is causing visibility problems. in attendance really isnt a iron clad law almost rain. is more adjectives sense. i wouldnt maintain a 65 mph tread in a torential downpour; that isnt not detrimental.
