There is not a passenger vehicle in existence that have good traction on virgin ice. It is approaching trying to drive on a skating rink sprayed with PAM and a coat of fresh oil on top. Thank honesty freezing rain is rare. I expect twice in the last 20 years I in fact stayed off the road for a couple of hours until conditions improved. Oh yeah, we acquire freezing rain and ice covered roads... You own to slow way down... You drive slow and if you unsure of your speed you slow down a little more to be on the risk-free side. Try to leave plenty of stopping distance between you and the vehicle ahead of you and try not to brake hard or lock your brakes as after you lose control of where you are heading.Not if I can avoid it.
