How do cars acquire stuck on train tracks so repeatedly?

In my city, there own been 3 reports of relations almost getting hit by trains with their cars on the tracks lately. Also, My fiance's best friend's ENTIRE domestic was kill in this posture several years ago.

I guess I just own a hard time sensitive how it happens - I be set to, why wouldn't they be able to a short time ago move their car? Or seize out of the car? Is in that some common denominator as to why it happen when it comes to accidents of this temperament?

Break down of the NJ Driving try-out?

Answers:    My guess is that the undercarriage of the car become stuck on the tracks after the first set of tires rolls over them. Meaning, the car is too low to the ground to know how to roll back over the track.

People probably attain too excited/nervous to think straight adequate to get out of the saloon in time to avoid self hit. Or maybe the seatbelt get stuck - although I doubt that would happen to a vehicle full of people. Perhaps surrounded by that case, it's a situation of not wanting to leave a loved one at the back when you can escape yourself.

Obviously, some people that drive onto the tracks are impair - drunk or high or anything and don't realize they are on the tracks until too late or if they do, cannot undamagingly navigate themselves out of the car.

I'm sorry to hear something like your friend's family - perchance he'd be a good soul to advocate for out of danger traveling near railroad tracks.

When coming up from at the back...
