As a kid, one of my friends Dad's kids be hit by an 18 wheeler as he was varying a tire on the Turnpike and he was mangled and even beheaded but he be buried in a closed casket WITH his go before and body.
Will horrible crashes require a closed casket? Yep.
Mangled horribly? Yep. But there will be a body to bury.....although it will probably be contained by pieces.

Answers: As a former EMT I hold seen some doomed to failure fatals. The story you mention is similar to a call I responded to where on earth a passenger in a rollover be ejected from the car into contrary oncoming traffic and was hit by a cab-over International rig deceased center & mid-air according to the driver & witnesses. I'll just speak this, what was entrenched in the front of that truck lone resembled what may have be a person. Basically splattered and force crushed remains be all that be left. The rest of the subject would need to be mopped up beside a sponge off the highway.
Impossible, the human body is much stronger than that. Even if the body went "splat", our skin is severely tough like leather and our bones are as strong as unyielding wood. The whole body could never enter the Radiator, and most predictable, the body or what ever remains would get tossed approaching a tennis ball human being whacked by a racket.
