Answers:    Ok, the canon on the tyres is quite simple..

On the sidewall of your tyre it read aloud something like 165/65 r14
the bit you are interested contained by is the r14 bit, this is the size of the wheel rim (14in) it is not permitted to have different sizes of wheelrims on indistinguishable axle, (i.e. r14 on the front left and r15 on the front right), but you CAN own them on seperate axles (i.e. r14 on the front and r15 on the back)
Is it just different tyre types you refer to? its clearly legal to mix make of tyres as long as you dont change the wheelrim size on equal axle.. (And of course it should be the correct wheelrim size for the vehicle you are driving!)

As far as the switch, take the saloon back to the agent who sold it to you to have it checked, it may be broken, they should fix it lacking problem, if not you can unquestionably report them to the local trading standards office..

failing adjectives else, you bought the car on credit i filch it? you have a statutory cooling sour period where on earth you can return the car minus a large cost (Your local CAB can advice you on this one!)

Good luck, and save returning the car to the seller until you are totally satisfied near the car, you salaried for it (and are probably paying a high APR to keep hold of it) so it should work perfectly economically, it should be "fit for purpose!"

Plane Crash. OH MY GOD what we...

As long as you have impossible to tell apart tyres on front and on back if you regulation the wheels around,Speak to them first in relation to all your concerns if you be aware of they are not showing any interest then give an account them you are thinking of going to trading standards, and see what response you get it worked for me once. Good luck
