Me and the car contained by front of me make like peas in a pod lane change. However, as soon as the driver contained by front of me changes lane, they realize the car within front of them is stopped. They slam on their brakes and hits the car contained by front of them lightly, cause no damage. I afterwards rear stop the car that hit the first guy. Am I at defect for following too closely? Would the police take into consideration the more sudden stop a collision creates? Perhaps that 3 or 4 inches further they would own traveled by just hitting the brakes and not hitting something would enjoy meant I didn't hit them at adjectives.
its your fault. at hand are no laws to cover following closely.
you are at responsibility for hitting the second guy and the second guy is at fault for hitting the first guy (who be stopped)
sorry but better luck next time. I know what you be set to but life sucks. it happen to me too.
Answers: Yes, you would be at fault. You should be far plenty from the car surrounded by front of you that if it comes to a dead stop, you can brake contained by enough time to where on earth you do not hit it. If not, you're following too close. It's called the 2 second rule (longer if roads are wet).
