Well if you hold a mobile phone you dial the appropriate number and ask the emergency services to help..
Within a short spell of time (hopefully) someone will come and take control.

Answers: 1. Safely slow your vehicle to avoid being a section of the accident. Don't SLAM on the brakes if you really don't have need of to or the person losing you may hit you!
2. Pull safely stale the road if you are staying on the scene. Activate your hazard flashers.
3. Try your best to consider your surroundings and the vehicles involved within the accident. You may be asked to recount what you saw as a "witness".
4. Make sure someone is calling for oblige. Call for help if you hold access to a cell phone. Remember that calling 911 from a cell phone doesn't immediately connect you to a dispatcher. You may hold to stay on the phone while they transfer you to the appropriate jurisdiction.
5. Render aid if you can. It's best if nation that are involved in a focal accident stay within their vehicles unless their energy is in forthcoming danger (like from a fire.)
6. Stay until authorities arrive and make available you permission to give up your job. (Like I said, even if you were not involved, they may want you to write down what you saw.)
Just yesterday an catastrophe happened right until that time I arrived on the scene. I didn't actually see the wreck, but it have JUST happened. I stopped my motor ahead of the accident and rotten to the side. I called for relieve. I made sure someone was staying near the person. I next walked down the expressway and begin to motion people from the berm to be prepared to switch lanes (it be on a tight curve and you couldn't see the car because of the elevation of the retaining wall.) Once law enforcement and medical personal arrived, I have the driver assure the officers that I be not involved with the disaster. I also told them I had not witnessed anything and be excused from the scene.
Good question. I hope that answer have helped a bit.
