If i wasnt given a ticket for happenstance can i still be found at scorn?

i was within a accident and i reverse ended another vehicle.the state trooper said he wasnt given me a ticket because it was black rime and i did everything i could to stop i was 15mph underneath speed limit and they slammed on near breaks and i hit mine and slid a long ways on thick black rime .cop said there be nothing i could do.so he didnt tender me a ticket.but can i still be found at fault by insurance company or would it run under the "work of God law"

What is the best be to protect...

Answers:    Good question,
In standard, most states automatically assign fault to anyone who rear-ends another vehicle. This is because commonly you can only reverse end another vehicle because of things you did that were wrong, ie; Following too close, going too hurriedly, not paying attention, etc...
However, hitting "black ice" which can be virtually invisible until you are on it could be something that couldn't be help.
The only entity I could say they might try to say aloud it was your knock would be that if you rear done someone, you apparently were going too quick for the road conditions that were present. Even if you be under the posted speed hamper, this can depend on road conditions. ie; Very foggy but the speed limit is 65mph. Going 65mph within heavy fog would be going too hurried for current road conditions, even though technically you aren't speeding.

I do wish you luck though, I don`t know they won't count it as your fault.

Car form and booster form?

Even if within was rime, you should have be far enough that you could enjoy steered out of the way, or stopped despite sliding. I'm pretty sure your insurance company will put you at error.
