Last week I was struck by a vehicle while walking to my own in a shopping precinct parking lot. Besides some minor bruising and swelling, and a lot of soreness, I am OK. Her insurance company agent made the statement that "both of you were at fault". I didn't resembling that, now I want to determine who was at show disapproval. My understanding is that pedestrians have the right of path in ALL parking lots, and it is the motorists responsibility to yeild for them at ALL times. But if anyone has specific law or regulations they can site, I would appreciate it. Many thanks.
HELL YEAH! ALL PEDESTRIANS HAVE THE RIGHT OF WAY, no concern what (unless you're on a divided expressway and obviously suicidal). Leave it in the hand of an attorney.
