Answers: Safe. If you didn't have an airbag, and you get into a wreck, your head would hit the steering gearstick or the dashboard. It would crack your skull open and any seriously hurt you or kill you. Airbags provide a cushion for your chief to hit before hitting those two things. They may sting a moment or two and cause flush, but it's much better than cracking your skull open

Saved my existence. Like an idiot I wasn't wearing my seatbelt and ended up going through the twist shield anyway but the airbags kept me from being completely ejected.
