hi i just lately bought i punisher skull sticker. I had no opinion where to put it so i put it on the outside of the vertebrae window at the bottom where on earth the third break light is, so when i break it lights up the skull it looks awesome but i am wondering if it is unauthorized.. the sticker is about 7 inches within hieght 3 inch wide. i live within nyc so please tell me what you suggest. ty
Answers: The National DOT requires that all of your indicator lights (brake lights, signal lights, mark lights) need to be properly functioning and free of log jam.
Depending on the police in your nouns, they shouldn't have a problem near it.
In my opinion, if you can still see the CHMSL (Center big mounted stop light) and the sticker isn't making it too dim, I don't see why it would hurt anything. But if it's completly blocking the CHMSL, you may get pulled over and asked to remove it.
