Is it your denounce?

you are making a left turn from your drive way, you see a motor coming from your left (300 feet away) you still turned. as you you are finishing your turn (already over the dotted washed out line) you get struck by the other car. hitting you on the rear passenger side. is it totally your fault? should the other car of slowed down? it be a 25 mph road. could you of made it? could the other car be speeding?

Where does the 4-second rule apply contained...

It is totally your fault for entering the roadway when a car be approaching. The other car has the right of approach, when they are already on the road. Sorry if that's not the answer that you were looking for. Good Luck!
Sounds to me approaching both cars are being operated by doomed to failure drivers.
The first driver could have waited two more second before turning and the second driver could have slowed down.

They both enjoy poor judgment or are just not involved. I hope they both learned a lesson.
Not your fault. You have almost completed making the turn and the other guy failed to slow down and struck you from behind. In nearly 99.9% of backside end crash cases, the driver of the car that reaer finished the other car is at fault for not individual in complete, control of their vehicle. You have a solid casing. Also, did you obtain a police report?

Edit: to clarify, you were hit as you completed the turn, as a result, the driver of the other car hit you while moving which is a worse offense/violation. No matter what, the other driver be going straight and was negligent for backside ending you. They should have be looking and slowed down to let you complete the turn. Meaning, you had the right of means of access and they failed to yield. Also, since you be competing the turn, the other driver obviously had adequate time to react and slow down and stay in control of their sports car. Check the and know the law. You are NOT at fault. Get an attorney if you haven't already.
Your cross-examine does not make sense! If you are turning left and the vehicle is coming from the left, how did the car hit you surrounded by the passenger side? Unless you are in an area next to right hand drive, I am confused.

Under normal circumstances, if you are still making your turn and you are hit, it is your failure. It does not matter if the car that have the right of way was speeding, if you verbs in front of him you are the cause of the chance!

If you made the turn completely and then were hit surrounded by the rear (not the side) then the driver of the striking vehicle is at failing for failure to reduce speed to avoid a collision! You would enjoy to have established yourself in the travel lane, and next been hit!

From the way you describe the calamity, you are at fault!
Boy, the bad answer crowd is out contained by force this morning.

Let's evaluate here, shall we? One car is in a private driveway, the other on a public road. Who would you judge has the right of way? What would the decree say? The car on the public road must slow down at every private drive to bring in sure no one is pulling out, or perhaps the being leaving private property must yield to traffic doing a tour?

Now all of you maintaining "He hit you from the flipside, it's his fault", read the question again. "...hitting you on the back PASSENGER SIDE..." That indicates the vehicle coming from the left hit the rear of the vehicle pulling out as it was (let me quote again) "...finishing (the) turn..."

Yes, since you pulled out in front of a motor coming from you left and he hit you in the passenger side since you didn't linger until the road was clear to start your left turn from private property, YOU, not the saloon that hit you, are at fault. Notify your insurance you caused an chance, and they will pay.
Yes it is your fault especially beside no witnesses that said;" the other driver sped up and crossed the yellow line and tried to slaughter him(you)!"

The Police/law see the situation as they see it and know you pulled out and created the crash. Turning out or in front of another car or slowing it down; is other your fault!

So don't take the risk subsequent time and count it as experience.

Wait until it is clear and know if you were in the other drivers situation; someone will try to verbs out on you!

Nope, it will be your mistake for entering into oncoming traffic.

When do you own to drive speed...

The other motor hit you on the back side?? It's his/her fault entirely. Anytime anyone hits you from trailing, they are 100% at fault. Why? Because they were not within complete control of their car. You were making the turn and hit from aft while in movement, which is a worse charge for them too. I hope you got a police report and their insurance information too. Ask any police officer and they will narrate you it's true.

Why are the lines on roads still...

not your fault...99.9999% of the time its the drivers fault for hitting your reverse end,as hes not paying enough attention.

Answers:    The other driver had the right of approach. A person turning left NEVER have the right of way unless they have a not here turn only green signal. It doesn't matter how nippy the other car was going - you spoilt to yield. You are at fault.
Nope, it will be your mistake for entering into oncoming traffic.
