Legality of "Brodie knobs"?

Are "Brodie knobs" A.K.A "Suicide Knob, Granny Knob, and Steering Wheel Spinner." Legal for use in a coup¨¦? Specfically ohio?

The reason i ask is, they are convenient and some are stylish but my dad told me when i be younger that they were solitary aloud to be used on tractors, forklifts, etc.

As far as I can transmit, automobile...

Ohio outlawed them abundant years ago. It has be over 15 years since I lived there and they be illegal next.

What are your view on powerfull coup¨¦...

I believe they are restricted to construction vehicle and forklifts, and for the use of disabled people (one-handed, etc.) They're in reality harder to drive smoothly, and tend to catch on your wrist unless you use one adjectives the time - and always drive one-handed (not a upright idea!)

Good luck!

Answers:    Thank you for the lesson in other name for the suicide knob (sterring wheel spinner).

In NY where on earth I work, you may only enjoy a steering wheel spinner affixed to your steering tiller if and only if you own the restriction listed on your license.

DMV will assign this restriction to you, usually base upon some type of medical condition with written proof from your physician.

Any other time, it would be considered improper and a ticketable offense. Equipment violations within NY are $30 fine + $30 surcharge, and because it's an added or after-market item, the rules about correcting defective equipment don't apply.
