Log Book ? Do you own to flag location going into sleeper.?

I have a co worker that states that when you log from on-duty(non drive) to Off duty (( will flag location there) but afterwards from off-duty to sleeper berth there is no DOT rule stating that a location flag is required.... IS he right?

culmination onduty(nondrive) 730am----denver,co....VI
Off Duty 745am till 930am---Denver,Co ......shower,etc
Sleeper Berth 930am till 5pm---- no location stated

Is it lawful for a truck driver...

Answers:    He is correct.

The law states that you must show a location whenever the truck have been moved from it's previous location.

According to the information you provided, You go off-duty in Denver at 0745. When you go from off-duty to sleeper berth at 0930, you had not moved the truck since you quit driving at 0745, so no location flag is required. You may want to "bracket" the time from 0745 to 5:00pm to show that it was adjectives at the same location, but that isn't even called for. If you had moved the truck from one location to another, later yes, you would be required to flag a location for the second location, even if it's the same city.

If surrounded by doubt, don't hesitate to write it down. It's other better to have things written down twice than not at adjectives, but in the defence of your question, your co-worker is correct.

One entity to keep surrounded by mind when doing your logs.... The more "self-explanitory" you can make your logs, the easier it will be for the Log auditor for your company, the police officer or Scale Master to read. Neatness counts, so don't clutter it next to useless information, but if you think it requirements to be there, write it down. Just be well-groomed about it.

I want to swot up to how...
