got a parking ticket stuck to my windshield the other day. open it only to notice the reg. have been entered incorrectly. any suggestions? am totally skint. only parked for less than 2 mins so i could put a job application form into the post box.
dont know where on earth the sneaky warden dude appeared from and gave me a ticket.

I cogitate it could go either instrument, it's up to them to note the correct number but it's up to you to park legally and be honest.

Answers: sit tight and skulk and see if they chase you up...I can't see how they can chase you up if they have the wrong reg number.
In any event if they do catch up near you I would be tempted to tongue in cheek speak it wasn't you as the reg is different..everyone would know it was a typo by the warden, but technically they enjoy no proof and I think they will write it off.(next time for te sake of a few pence buy a ticket!)
